Noel Duncan

19 Years with Loggins Logistics, Inc.

Vice President of Operations/Recruiting

BIOGRAPHY:

Noel was born in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. He and his wife, Judy Duncan of 39 years have two sons, Shane and Craig along with five grandchildren.

In 1991, Noel began his trucking career driving a company truck. He initially met Jeff Loggins, business owner and founder of Loggins Logistics, Inc. while living across the street from one another. The two teamed up and Noel purchased a truck January of 1997, then immediately went to work for Jeff.

Over the span of 20 years, their close friendship and business relationship has helped lay a solid foundation for Loggins Logistics, Inc. Noel states that his proudest part of being a key player in Loggins Logistics is being able to look back to when they first started the business and acknowledging the progress and achievements they accomplished from then until now.

Noel enjoys interacting with customers, recruiting Owner Operators and attending truck shows. He suggests that the success of the business is due to the entire staff believing in what they do as a team. He also credits the effort and work they all put forward for their Owner Operators.

NOEL’S FAVORITE FLASHBACK:

Jeff and Noel have traveled many places together, making Noel no stranger to Jeff’s Nascar-style driving. Hilarious now, but terrifying at the time, Noel separates one particular ride from the rest as his memory highlight.

“Jeff was driving 90 miles an hour down the Interstate. While he is driving, he reached towards the backseat for something and runs us completely off the road and down into the median. He carefully brought the truck back to the road, never letting off the gas. He didn’t slow down at all and just laughed at me because of how white I had turned!”

Angie K. Jones

16 Years with Loggins Logistics, Inc.

Accounting

BIOGRAPHY:

Angie was born on Christmas Day in Jonesboro, Arkansas. This July she will celebrate her 17th wedding anniversary. She has two sons, Clay and Jacob.

Angie’s father has been a truck driver for as far back as she can remember. The last vacation she took with her family was about 20 years ago in her dad’s truck. It was fully equipped with a shower, a small kitchenette and two beds. They set out for the Pepsi 400 at Daytona. She worked in her dad’s office briefly before getting married and joining the team at Loggins Logistics.

In accounting, Angie prepares and examines financial records to make sure that all information is accurate in order to help the business run efficiently. She also analyzes business operations, ensuring procedural standards concerning taxes, costs, and financial commitments; making sure obligations are met.

The family-atmosphere at Loggins Logistics, Inc. is what Angie feels sets the company apart from any other. Being treated with respect as a friend and employee, rather than just office personnel proves the credibility of the company’s core values.

ANGIE’S FAVORITE FLASHBACK:

Loggins Logistics prides themselves in providing their customers with the highest quality of service possible. Fully staffed with professionals, Jeff’s group still knows how to relax in the office and have a good time. With plenty of inside jokes, shared banter and never-ending antics, Angie recalls the day Jeff took one for the team. Literally!

“One slow afternoon before the fourth of July, Doug and I were playing Frisbee in the office. Jeff happened to be walking by and stepped into the line of fire and took a pretty good lick on the head. Let’s just say, Doug and I laughed a little harder than Jeff did that day.”

Kevin Stallcop16 Years with Loggins Logistics, Inc.

Outside Sales

BIOGRAPHY:

Kevin currently resides in Brazil, Indiana. He and his wife, Donna have been married 23 years. Together they have three daughters and one grandbaby, born in October of 2015.

Kevin was raised on a farm and grew up surrounded by equipment and trucks. His father taught him how to operate heavy machinery at a very young age. He also drove a truck and owned a fleet of seven at one point. Kevin continued to following in his father’s footsteps and purchased his first semi at 19 years old. Keeping his position at a local factory building trailers, he put a driver in the truck and turned him loose.

By the age of 22, Kevin took a part-time job with a trucking company running over the road. Years later he switched to sales. Kevin had met Jeff Loggins over the phone and was brought on as an independent sales rep for Loggins Logistics, Inc. The following year Kevin joined the Loggins team working full time.

As Jeff’s outside salesman, his top priority is making sure their drivers have freight to haul. He is able to visit with customers to double check that all of their needs have been met. He enjoys traveling, meeting new people and recruiting for Loggins Logistics at any trucking events the company attends. Kevin points out the fact that all of the people working in the office are basically his second family. He describes their close friendships as unique and when the others refer to the ambience as ‘family-oriented,’ they mean it. He explains that having such downhome, caring individuals is what allows Loggins Logistics to run so smooth. Everyone has a good time.

Kevin’s Favorite Flashback:

Having been friends for such a long time, Kevin states that Jeff is the nicest man a person could ever meet. Being the traveling agent on the road, he acts as Noel and Jeff’s right hand man; handling anything asked of him that needs to be done. About 10 years ago, while opening a terminal in South Carolina both of their families all took a mini vacation together. After pulling out of the drive-thru at a local fast-food joint, the street signs directed Jeff to turn right, prohibiting any left turns on that road. Since Jeff drives by his own set of rules (meaning there are none), he proceeded to turn left. That little trip is one of Kevin’s favorite flashbacks.

“When we all realized that Jeff was not turning right as the road sign suggested, my kids looked at me and I told them to hang on. Then over the curb we went! It’s stuff like that that makes Jeff a lot of fun to be around. And he’s a great guy! I’d take a bullet for him.”

Brittany Ward

9 Years with Loggins Logistics, Inc.

Dispatch/Sales

BIOGRAPHY:

Brittany was born on February 15th, 1982 in Batesville, Arkansas. She and her husband, Michael have been married for 13 years and have a twelve-year-old daughter.

Her other obligations include maintaining healthy relationships with each driver, ensuring that they are on track and most of all, satisfied. She states that her father constantly reminds everyone to keep the drivers’ perspective first. From sitting in a truck himself, Jeff Loggins is able to use that aspect and understand their drivers in a way other trucking companies may not. He has been in their shoes and makes it a point to run his operation with the drivers’ priorities in mind.

BRITTANY’S FAVORITE FLASHBACK:

Working side by side indoors, five days a week around the same number of individuals tends to make the tiniest of ideas extremely entertaining. Brittany shares her fun memory of the day everyone decided to get out from behind their desks and unwind.

“One day we had a pretty thick snowfall. It was slow in the office, so we went outside. We used an old tire and chain, and Doug pulled us around the parking lot.”

He enjoys talking with people and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.

“We put some Mentos in the diet coke…”

As everybody knows, combining the two causes an explosion. The carbonation of the soft drink releases a type of gas from the candy, pushing the liquid to burst from its container. I imagine that was a sight to see!
